Program Description

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program is a collaborative effort among motivated students, dedicated teachers, and committed high schools, colleges, and universities. Since its inception in 1955, the AP Program has allowed students to take college-level courses and exams and to earn college credit and/or placement while still in high school.

In 2012, 83% of RUHS AP students scored a 3 or higher on their AP tests!  The 2012 National Average was only 61.53%!

If you are interested in taking AP courses, talk to an AP teacher or counselor about the course you want to take. Discuss the course's workload and any preparation you might need.

Find out more about the Advanced Placement program on the College Board website.
