2023 Season Kickoff!

Team 294: Beach Cities Robotics is a unique and dedicated group of students from Redondo Union and Mira Costa High School who have come together to compete in the exciting and challenging world of FIRST Robotics.  Our team uses the academic rigor of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.

Together, we design, build, and program robots that can perform a variety of tasks, from shooting balls to climbing towers.  Throughout the season, we work tirelessly to refine our robots and prepare for competition, all while building teamwork and a sense of community among our members.

At Beach Cities Robotics, we recognize the importance of STEM education and the role it plays in shaping the future.  Our team provides students with hands-on experience in areas such as engineering, computer science, and physics, while also encouraging creativity and innovation.  Participating in robotics competitions allows us to apply the skills and knowledge we learn in the classroom to real-world challenges.

We compete in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition, where teams from around the world come together to showcase their robots and their talents.  If you are a student who's interested in joining our team, we welcome you to learn more about us and apply to be a part of Team 294.
