Welcome to my Page!  I am excited to start another year at the best high school in southern California!  

I have lived in the South Bay my entire life and raised my family in this district. I graduated from RUHS in 1991 and attended El Camino CC and Cal State Long Beach where I was recruited to play Div 1 Softball.  I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education and earned my K-12 Teaching Credential.  I have been coaching Softball here for 20 years. In 2015 I became certified in Hatha Yoga from the White Lotus Foundation with a grant from the Blue Zones Project.  I have also trained to become a Life Coach and Certified Hypnotherapist with the International Hypnosis Foundation.  I began my own meditation and wellness practices over 25 years ago and l use this to connect with our students and their wellness needs on a different level.  I teach Physical Education classes in Weight Training, Dance, Fitness and Yoga and run the Softball Program.  In the past 10 years I have worked with our Administration and District in promoting 21 Century Wellness practices and have begun implementing programs for our students and faculty.  Giving back to our community is a big passion of mine--

RUHS Softball is a successful and charismatic program that strives to perform at the highest levels.  In the last 19 years we have won 9 Bay League Championships ( 21, 22, 23 Three-Peat!) and made deep playoff runs including, 2015 CIF Quarter-Finalists, 2016 CIF Div 3 Finalists, 2019 Semi-Finalists and 2021 Div 3 Cif Finalists.  We are a Pre-collegiate Varsity  program as well as a great training ground for our athletes with a top JV Program that has won Bay League our last three seasons.
