It is always exciting to start a new school year.  Let's make this a great one by arriving to class prepared and on time, and by maintaining a positive learning environment for all.

Each and every one of you has the ability to be successful in class. Success is demonstrating understanding throughout the semester.  Effort alone does not guarantee success.  For better understanding of the concepts taught, complete homework assignments and class work on time and ask questions. Set aside non classroom time to study by reworking examples from the notes, or HW problems. Math is not a spectator sport!
