State Seal of Civic Engagement

What Is the State Seal of Civic Engagement?
Students are awarded the California State Seal of Civic Engagement (SSCE) who have demonstrated excellence in civics education and participation, as well as an understanding of the following: the United States Constitution, the California Constitution, the democratic system of government.
 
How Do I Qualify for the Seal?
To qualify for the California State Seal of Civic Engagement, students must fulfill FIVE criteria set forth by the California Department of Education (CDE), as measured by the Redondo Beach Unified School District (RBUSD).
 
Students who wish to apply for the California State Seal of Civic Engagement must complete all five criteria and submit evidence of successful completion via the California State Seal of Civic Engagement: RUHS Application Form by Friday, April 19, 2024
