PLTW
Project Lead The Way at RUHS
PLTW stands for Project Lead The Way. PLTW pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science engage students in hands-on activities, projects, and problems; empower them to solve real-world challenges; and inspire them to re-imagine how they see themselves.
PLTW is a national program started in 1997 to foster education in STEM fields. It creates curriculum for grades K through 12 and provides extensive teacher training to implement that curriculum. PLTW is for all students! The design of the courses is intended to engage students that thrive with a hands-on approach to learning through experience.
