Seal of Biliteracy

The California State Seal of Biliteracy program recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing one or more languages in addition to English. There are two sections that 12th-grade students must meet. A seal on your diploma and a pin is earned if you meet the requirements.
