Academic Class Scheduling
Fall 2025 Schedule Change Requests:
Counselors will not be able to make changes to schedules via phone or email requests. If you identify an error in your schedule, or you want to request a necessary change, you must submit your request through the link listed below.
Please note that approval of course changes are determined by class availability and are not guaranteed. Students should check their PowerSchool "Class Schedule" nightly after August 20th to see if the request was able to be processed. We will continue to prioritize requests through the first three weeks of school and they will be honored based on the need and the availability of the master schedule. Some requests may not be granted. The following reasons for requesting a course change will not be honored:
- Teacher change request
- Period change request
If you took a summer course, an official transcript must be sent to Ms. Joy Scarcliff ([email protected]) before schedule changes can be made.
In order to complete this form, parents/guardians must enter their email address they provided to Redondo Union High School. The parent/guardian email will be used as the parent/guardian signature approving their child's course request change.

The RUHS Counseling Team is prioritizing students’ schedules with conflicts or necessary changes (ie: student took the course in summer school and new course should be added once we have received the official transcript) and preparing for the start of the school year. Thank you for your patience and understanding with delays in email/phone response times
