Algebra 2 has a prerequisite of a C or better in CC Algebra 1 and CC Geometry. This course covers Chapters 1-11 in the Big Ideas Algebra 2 text. Major topics include Linear Functions and Transformations , Quadratic Functions, Quadratic Equations and Complex Numbers, Polynomial Functions, Rational Exponents and Radical Functions, and Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Rational Expressions and Equations, Sequences and Series, Trigonometric Ratios and Functions, Probability, and Data Analysis and Statistics. The TI-84 graphing calculator is used extensively throughout the course.
