Course Description

Introduction to Broadcasting introduces students to the world of broadcast journalism as they train to produce content for the bi-weekly news program RUTV.  Students learn newswriting and research skills, videography, editing skills, and sound recording to develop a voice as a journalist. Students learn all aspects of news production including anchoring, directing, and producing in our state-of-the-art studio facility.   Notes: Meets UC/CSU “G” Requirement
