Physiology-2nd Period

Course Description

What is Physiology? 
Welcome to physiology!  Physiology is an elective laboratory science course that studies the structures and functions of the human body. Each unit and focuses on a different body system, including the anatomical structures and physiological functions within the body system as well as medical applications.  Students will be expected to learn the important structures in each body system & how they work together to help the human body maintain homeostasis. This course also involves the dissection of lab specimens.  

Upon successful completion of the course (both semesters), students will earn a life science lab course credit as well as a health credit.
