Textbook Return for Students

RUHS students and families,

The week of June 8th we will collect student textbooks, senior Chromebooks (9th thru 11th grade students will keep their Chromebooks over the summer), and allow RUHS staff the opportunity to collect or return materials.

Here are the details:

  • 9th thru 11th grade students will report by last name alphabetically

o   June 8th last names A – F, between 8am – 12pm

o   June 9th last names G – N, between 8am – 11am

o   June 10th last names O – Z, between 8am – 12pm

  • All 12th grade students will report Tuesday June 9th between 11am – 1pm
    • Seniors will not only drop material off, but they will also pick up a Senior T-shirt, as well as a Senior Spirit Pack if they had purchased a Senior Sticker at the beginning of the school year
    • DIPLOMAS: Arrived June 4th. We will have a pick up station on the south end of the Student Union 
  • Textbooks and senior Chromebooks will be returned in the Student Union (please see map)
    • Barcode must be legible or fine will be charged
    • All book covers and papers must be removed
    • All writing and graffiti will result in full or partial fine
    • Books returned after June 12th will result in a $5.00 late fee per book
    • All textbooks that were left in lockers have been returned to the library
    • Students can return broken Chromebooks in the Student Union
  • All students main locker items have been placed in bags and are tagged with names
    • Main locker items will be picked up in the Student Union at this location
    • Any items students left in their PE locker will need to be picked up by students in the Boys and Girls PE locker rooms. Some items that were valuable are bagged and tagged with locker numbers and other items are organized by clothing type. This process will be supervised by RUHS staff and we will monitor what students take with them
  • Teachers/staff will provide opportunities to return items or collect materials at these designated times
  • Student athletes will return their uniforms in front of the student union at this location
    • Student athletes that left personal belongings in their team room can go down to their locker and pick up their items. This process will be supervised by RUHS staff and we will monitor what students take with them
  • Please make sure the following protocols are followed:

o   All students need to wear a protective face covering while on campus

o   Practice social distancing

o   Please bring a backpack or bag with your belongings

o   No socializing while on campus, you should be in and out
