SEA HAWK TALK:

Redondo Union High School (RUHS) will be hosting Sea Hawk Talk on Thursday, February 21st, from 5:30pm – 7:05pm. All prospective 9th grade students and parents are invited to attend this informative event! students and parents will learn more about the courses and opportunities that are offered at RUHS. Sea Hawk Talk begins at the RUHS Auditorium at 5:30pm for a principal’s message and counselor presentation. Afterward, students and parents will have an opportunity to attend two workshops which will provide specific information on academic honors courses, high school pathways, and extracurricular programs offered at RUHS. We hope to see you there!

10TH GRADE PARENT INFORMATION NIGHT:

Have a Sophomore at RUHS? Representatives from the RUHS Counseling Team will be hosting a 10th Grade Parent Information Night on Wednesday, February 20th at 6pm in the RUHS Library. Topics include Junior Year Planning, College Testing Timelines, Summer Enrichment Opportunities, Resources For Post High School Planning and more.  

COMEDYSPORTZ:

Ready for another hilarious Friday night? Comedysportz is back for February! Our next match is February 22nd at 7pm in the RUHS Auditorium against Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. The theme is  Animal Kingdom so come dressed up as your favorite animal and join us for a fun night of competitive improv! Tickets are $5 with ASB, $7 without. We’ll see you there for a roarin’ good time!

CAML:

Congratulations to Ed Slee for being the top scoring student at RUHS on last week’s CAML Contest, with a score of 5 out of 6.  We had a dozen others tied for second with 4 out of 6.  The last CAML Contest will be held on March 19.

ACADEMIC DECATHLON TEAM:

Congratulations to our Academic Decathlon team for winning a bid to State!

Please remember that RUHS has a strict dress code policy that needs to be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in having to change and/or fix your outfit. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any adult on campus, or look on the website or in your school planner for the dress code policy of what is allowable and what is not.

PARKING AT RUHS:

Staff and Students: All parking spots are assigned and permitted. In order for you to park in the parking lot during the school day, you MUST have been assigned a designated spot. Please do not park in the parking lot if you did not receive a spot, you will be towed.
