Ms. Cathy Wang

Cathy Wang (she/her) is a Chinese language and EL teacher at Redondo Union High School with over 10 years of experience in language education. Under Ms. Wang’s leadership, the RUHS Chinese Program has grown into an inclusive, high-quality language pathway designed for every student. The program supports diverse learners, celebrates culture, and fosters a strong and sustainable learning community.

Ms. Wang is an ACTFL OPI Tester in Mandarin, an AP Chinese Language and Culture Professional Learning Consultant, Induction Program mentor, and a master teacher for candidates in the CSULB Teaching Credential Program. She also proudly advises the Redondo Union High School Chapter of the National Chinese Honor Society. In addition to her teaching and mentoring roles, Ms. Wang is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at the University of Southern California.
