Welcome to Unified PE!
Motivating others to accomplish their goals while providing an applicable learning environment has always been a passion of mine. I have desire to serve students with varying abilities as I believe it is important to not only promote inclusion, but focus on the "able" in ability. This will be my 5th years serving RBUSD as the Adapted PE teacher and 2nd year running Unified PE at RUHS. I have had 3 years of experience serving as a physical therapist aide and 10+ years of experience working with children and students in various settings.
Creativity and innovation in the minds of students never ceases to amaze me. Through these experiences I have learned that I have a desire to teach others how to be physically active for life. My goal is to promote physical fitness and wellness by including everyone of varying abilities.
I am your typical Southern Californian girl that enjoys being outside. With the weather California provides it's hard not to be. I enjoy spending time with my family, riding my bike, running, taking walks, swimming, and taking road-trips to national parks. Currently I have taken on the challenge of running 1/2 marathons.
