Due to the network outage on Thursday, the deadline to opt out of the PSAT (click here to opt out) has been extended to Tuesday, September 5 at 8:00 am. Please see attached flyer for more details.

CHOIR PERFORMANCE AT ANGELS GAME
RUHS Choirs are singing the national anthem for the Angels game on Wednesday September 27! Get tickets for the game and support the RUHS choir! Field level is $45 per ticket and View level is $20 per ticket. You can purchase the tickets at the ASB finance office or from Dr. Erskine. Contact Dr. Erskine, [email protected] if you have any questions.
CSF HONOR ROLL REGISTRATION
The CSF honor roll registration window will be open for two weeks, from Wednesday, August 30th through Wednesday, September 13th. Students in grades 10 through 12 who qualify and want to join should fill out an application (available on the Google Classroom page or in room 706 starting Wednesday) and bring it, along with their June report card, to be stamped in room 706 at lunch only. Students will then take the stamped application to the ASB finance office, along with $5, to complete their registration. The window will close on Wednesday, September 13th, and late applications will not be accepted. The Google Classroom code for this year’s CSF page is mprx4xk. Freshmen will need to wait to apply until February, when they have an RUHS report card, but they may join the Google Classroom now.
FALL 2023 GOVERNMENT INTERNSHIP
Internship opportunities for high school students are available with the District Office of California State Assembly member Al Muratsuchi in Torrance, CA. Fall internships run from mid-September 2023 to December 2023. Interns will have the opportunity to learn how a government office works. Applicants must be interested in political and government work. Internships are part-time and unpaid. It’s time to get ready for auditions and interviews for our Winter Mainstage Play: Lost Girl and our Comedy Sportz competitive improv league team! RUHS Theatre Arts will be holding an informational meeting at 3:45 pm on Wednesday September 6th in the Auditorium.
