BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

We are excited to welcome you to our Back to School Night! One of the best ways to show support for your RUHS student(s) is to attend our Back to School Night on Thursday, September 21st, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. The evening will start with a welcome message by our principal, Mr. Anthony Bridi in the auditorium. Immediately following the welcome message, zero and 7th period classes will have a chance to meet (5:50 – 6:00). If your student does not have a zero or 7th period class, you will follow your child(ren)’s schedule starting with his/her first period at 6:05In each class you will meet the teacher and get an overview of the class policies and course content. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to meet the outstanding RUHS staff, see our amazing campus, and support your student’s academic efforts!

AQUATICS LIFEGUARD

Interested in becoming a lifeguard? RBUSD is hiring a lifeguard/swim instructor. Must be at least 16 years of age and have American Red Cross certification including Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications. Click here to apply!

 

HOMECOMING DANCE

Save the Date Sea Hawks!  Our Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, September 30th. You may buy your tickets on our webstore on our school website or at the ASB Finance office in the Administration building. Just a reminder, TICKET PRICES will go up weekly. Your ticket includes: Food Trucks, Coffee Cart, Gaming Truck, Gaming Stations, DJ, Photo Booths, and more!  

 

RUHS THEATRE ARTS AUDITIONS

Ever wonder what happened after Peter Pan brought the Wendy back from Neverland?! RUHS Theatre Arts will be holding auditions and technical interviews for the Winter Play – Lost Girl, the story of the girl who had to grow up. Interviews for technical crew will be held September 18th, and Auditions will be held September 19th for actors. For more information, please check out our Google Classroom Page, code Lju756t. CHOIR PERFORMANCE AT ANGELS GAME

RUHS Choirs are singing the national anthem for the Angels game on Wednesday September 27! Get tickets for the game and support the RUHS choir! Field level is $45 per ticket and View level is $20 per ticket. You can purchase the tickets at the ASB finance office or from Dr. Erskine. FALL 2023 GOVERNMENT INTERNSHIP

Internship opportunities for high school students are available with the District Office of California State Assembly member Al Muratsuchi in Torrance, CA.  Fall internships run from mid-September 2023 to December 2023. Interns will have the opportunity to learn how a government office works. Applicants must be interested in political and government work.  Internships are part-time and unpaid.  To learn more and/or apply, please send your resume, cover letter, and a brief writing sample by Friday, September 8, 2023 to:
