ATTENDANCE

Attendance Corner

If you believe your student was marked absent in error, please have your student pick up an Attendance Correction form from the Attendance Office within 5 school days of the absence.

To clear an absence, please complete the “Report an Absence” form located on our school website at RedondoUnion.org here:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc3_SYzKwVE4VeG3M9pd1bPpe_ndFC6BWjGsGPDKW0PB8bjhQ/viewform

All students who leave early must check-out through the Health Office or Attendance Office by obtaining an Off Grounds Permit before leaving school, so we can ensure that all students are accounted for.

Students who arrive to school late must check-in at the Attendance Office with a relevant parent or appointment note and pick up a Tardy Pass.

Parents/Guardians must clear absences within 5 school days. After the fifth day, uncleared absences are recorded as CUT (truant).

Please allow up to 3 school days to process changes. You can check the status of Student Attendance in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. For more information about our Attendance Policies and procedures visit RedondoUnion.org (Parents/Attendance) here. Thank you for your cooperation.

BROADCASTING

Our amazing RUHS broadcasting crew is hosting a fundraiser through AGAPANTHA, a local online jewelry shop based in Torrance, starting Thursday, Nov.27th and going until Sunday, Nov. 30th.

15% will be donated back, and proceeds will help the crew enter broadcast competitions, upgrade tech and maybe even rock some new RUTV apparel on-air. The more we raise, the more awesome (and high-tech) our broadcasts become!

Check out the attached flyer for all the details.

Thanks for your support!

Note: Must use the code "RUHSMEDIA". The code will be live on Thursday Nov. 27th at 12:00am
