RUHS Make Up Picture Day Friday, October 5th in the Teen Court Bingo Room to schedule an

appointment, please stop by the Receptionist Desk. Dorian Studios will be here from 7:30am -1:00pm


The CSF application window is open through Friday, October 5th. Students may pick up an application from Mrs. Valentekovich in room 705 or print an application from the redondounion.org site (under "Programs and Activities"). Completed applications and the June 2018 report card (or a copy of it; no transcripts, please) may be checked and stamped at lunch only in room 705. Checked and stamped applications must be submitted, along with a $5 fee, to the ASB office no later than Friday, October 5th. No exceptions. Freshmen may not apply until the spring registration period, once they have

Teen Court will be holding its 1st trial of the 18-19 school year on Wed., 10/17 in the Teen Court/Bingo Room. Teen Court welcomes all to come see the effect teens in democracy have on the lives of other teens. Our first trial will be a case of Burglary and Failure to Obey Orders of a Police Officer. All are welcome to observe in the audience, but students interested in serving on the jury must be trained. New juror training begins @ 3:00 in room 506; sign-in for Teen Court begins @ 3:10, and court begins @ 3:30.  See you in court.


Girls Soccer Tryouts will be held Friday Oct 19th from 3:15 to 5pm on the athletic field.  This tryout is only for girls not in 5th period soccer.  If you are a fall sport athlete, please stop by to see me for more information.  Dress for soccer with cleats, shin guards, and water.  For more information, please contact Coach Shelly Mardsen at shellymar@yahoo.com


Savanah College of the Arts and Design will be here Wednesday  October 3rd @ lunch in Ms. Roth’s room 113. See you there!


The RBUSD will be evaluating, recommending, and adopting grades 7-12 comprehensive sexual health education and HIV/AIDS prevention curriculum in October 2018. As a unified school district, we want to make an informed decision for curriculum selection to best meet the requirements of the California Healthy Youth Act (CHYA). For additional information regarding the CHYA, please

*This is the last week to purchase an ASB sticker! The Back to School Special runs at $140, and

includes an ASB sticker for free admittance into sporting events, discounts on school events, a

planner, spirit shirt, and our award winning yearbook. There is also the option of purchasing the

Spirit pack for $60, which does not include the yearbook. Sales end Friday, September 28th. Don’t delay and purchase today!

*All RUHS students wishing to use the hall locker assigned to you must use a RUHS lock. Purchase for $7 in the ASB Finance Office. 

*Hey Seniors! It's not too late to buy a Senior Sticker and enjoy all the fun senior events we have to offer (plus food!)! Stickers cost $40 and can be purchased in the ASB finance office! Hurry before it's too late!

begins at noon.


Staff and Students: All parking spots are assigned and permitted. In order for you to park in the

parking lot during the school day, you MUST have been assigned a designated spot. Please do not park in the parking lot if you did not receive a spot, you will be towed.


Please remember that RUHS has a strict dress code policy that needs to be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in having to change and/or fix your outfit. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any adult on campus, or look on the website or in your school planner for the dress code policy of what is allowable and what is not.


Community Helpline is a toll-free, confidential crisis and referral hotline. They are currently accepting applications for their fall training class.
