Mr. Keye - Physics and Digital Electronics Teacher

AP Physics 1 Week 2 Weekend Assignment: Perform a controlled experiment that investigates the relationship between the straight line distance through the center of a circle and the distance around the circle. Record your raw data in your notebook. Process your data and create a Scientific Argument on the back of the graph paper handed out in class. Your argument should be handwritten, legible and organized, and contain the four sections: Question, Claim, Evidence, & Explanation. On the graph paper side, you will construct a graph according to the conventions we have learned, show your slope calculation, and report the mathematical model you have extracted from the data set.

Your explanation should:
- remind the reader what was performed in the experiment
- explain in words your evidence
- explain how the evidence backs up the claim
- give an example from your specific data set and equation how your relationship backs up your claim and why the evidence does or does not back up the type of relationship you proposed in your claim.
- discuss transparently any reasonable causes of uncertainty and what % they could vary your results by
