RBUSD UNITY SPIRIT WEEK:

Sea Hawks- get ready to celebrate our amazing district with the RBUSD Unity Spirit Week next week. Monday is superhero day, Tuesday is Jersey Day, Wednesday is Unity Blue Day (wear blue), Thursdays is decades day, and Friday is class colors day. Make sure to come out to the Student Union next Friday for some fun games and music.

INTO THE WOODS:

RUHS Performing Arts is proud to present INTO THE WOODS!  Performances will take place in the RUHS Auditorium March 29 & 30 at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $15.00 at the door and online at ruhsdrama.com. Into the Woods follows a Baker and his wife, who learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse. The two set off on a journey to break the curse where they encounter classic fairytale characters such as Cinderella, Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel, and more! Will they all get their wish and break the curse? We hope you join us and come find out!

ACADEMIC DECATHLON:

Redondo Union Academic Decathlon is back from four days of high-stakes competition at the state round in Sacramento, and we placed fourth in Division Three! Additional congrats for the following decathletes who medaled:

  1. Max Black: Bronze medal in mathematics
  2. Jacob Chavez: Bronze medal in economics
  3. Kenneth Pak: Silver medal in mathematics
  4. Sebastian Houseknecht: Gold medal in art; gold medal in social science
  5. Poorvi Gorripati: Silver medal in speech; silver medal in interview
  6. Soleil Engin: Gold medal in art; silver medal in literature; highest scoring decathlete of the             team; Second highest scoring decathlete in Division Three, overall!

Aca Dec:

Redondo Union Academic Decathlon is excited to announce next year’s theme: In Sickness and in Health--an exploration of illness and wellness. This includes studying cancer in science and reading Frankenstein in literature. We will send out invitations for our recruitment lunch in April. If you are interested in learning more about how to represent your school in Academic Decathlon, travel to state, and earn medals, come to room 301 during lunch. We want to meet you!  Go Redondo!

COMDEYSPORTZ:

Ready for another hilarious night full of improv? The next ComedySportz match is on April 5 at 7 pm in the RUHS auditorium! Tickets are $5 with ASB and $7 without. The theme is Redondo vs Costa so make sure to fully deck out in red and white to support the Redondo team! We’ll see you there!

Please remember that RUHS has a strict dress code policy that needs to be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in having to change and/or fix your outfit. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any adult on campus, or look on the website or in your school planner for the dress code policy of what is allowable and what is not.

PARKING AT RUHS:

Staff and Students: All parking spots are assigned and permitted. In order for you to park in the parking lot during the school day, you MUST have been assigned a designated spot. Please do not park in the parking lot if you did not receive a spot, you will be towed.
