Congratulations to Model UN students, who recently won an award of distinction at the National High School Model United Nations conference. This recognition is reserved for the top three schools out of the nearly 200 who attended. Model UN is an extra-curricular activity in which students simulate the workings of the United Nations. Students investigate topics of global interest such as how to respond to the needs of refugees, controlling fossil fuel emissions, and illicit arms trade, while they improve their skills at research and debate. See Mr. Sklarenko if you are interested in participating.
