RUHS TALLENT SHOW:

Come check out Redondo’s Talent at the Talent Show on Thursday February 13th at 6pm in the

auditorium! Tickets are on sale for $5 through the finance office.

CAML:

There will be a California Math League “CAML” Contest on Tuesday February 11 at lunch in 316.  Bring your pencils and calculator and lunch to try to earn extra credit in your math class (Geometry or higher).

RUHS FOOTBALL TRYOUTS:

Any RUHS student currently not in the football program, and interested in playing, should come to the RUHS Football Tryout on Feb 20th at 3:30pm at the Field House. Athletes should have running shoes and cleats if possible. Try Out will last 1 hour or less. Any athletes in Spring sport interested in trying out should communicate with Coach Ballard to arrange separate tryout after your spring

season. Coach Ballard is available any day during snack in the Boys PE Office, big gym, or by

email: [email protected].

WARM CLOTHES & BLANKET DRIVE:

The Fundraising Foundation is now hosting a warm clothing and blanket drive in partnership with Mental Health of America- Los Angeles. The organization provides an intensive care and

rehabilitation program for adults who have a severe mental illness, many of which are homeless and/

 or are very low income. Any donation of coats, jackets, blankets, etc. will greatly help those in times of need. Please donate these items to room 405 by February 21st.

ART COMPETITION:

Calling all Artists! The 33rd district of CA is hosting a Congressional Art Competition and this is your chance to showcase your artistic talent! Please turn in all 2D works of art (no larger than 26”x26”) to Mrs. Andrade, Room 116 by Monday, February 10th for your chance to win! 1st place earns a

scholarship prize and a trip to Washington D.C., 2nd place, 3rd and honorable mention will win

scholarship prizes, and all participants will earn participation prizes! There will be a reception for the art on Saturday March 7th at 1pm in Beverly Hills. Hope to see you there!

RBEF ANNUAL SPRING GALA:

Save the Date for our annual spring gala at the Portofino Hotel on April 24, 2020.

MATH TUTORING:

*Free math tutoring will be available after school every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 4 PM.  Go to Room 152 on Tuesdays, and go to Room 209 on Thursdays.

*Need help with math? Come down to Room 313 during lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and

Thursdays for help! Need community service hours? Like math? Come down to the Math Tutoring Club to volunteer as a math tutor for community service!
