Attention Seniors:

Do you believe that the Justice Dept. of this country should be independent and impartial?  Would you like the opportunity to win as much as $5,000.00 for writing an essay on this topic?  If so, there is an essay contest beginning through the California Judges Foundation “C.J.F”.   The CJF wants to encourage high school seniors throughout the state to learn more about the state judiciary and better understand the importance of an independent and impartial judiciary. The contest will be held in six regions of the state and essays will be read and graded by a team of judicial officers and lawyers in each region. A winner will be selected from each of the six regions and from that group, a grand prize winner will be selected. The grand prize is $5,000 and each runner-up will receive $2,000. Please click on this link for instructions and to submit essay submission: https://www.caljudges.org/essay.asp Full details can be found on the school bulletin (Infinite Campus Home Page).  Questions may be directed to M.
